About BLS Pinellas

The Better Living for Seniors Consortium (BLS) is a network of professionals dedicated to serving seniors in Pinellas County, Florida. Established in 1988 in affiliation with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., BLS represents over 220 (and growing)  members  who are committed to improving the lives of seniors.

BLS thrives on the active participation of its members. They volunteer their time to engage in various committees, share valuable information, network, educate, and refer business to each other, playing a critical role in the consortium's success.

Join a Committee and Make a Difference

Become an active member of the Better Living for Seniors Consortium by joining one of our dynamic committees! Your participation is vital in shaping programs and initiatives that directly impact the lives of seniors in Pinellas County. By volunteering your time and expertise, you’ll have the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals, share valuable insights, and help drive our mission forward. Silver Santas 

In 2023, the Silver Santas program successfully delivered 1,500 gift bags to deserving seniors. This year, we're aiming to increase that number and bring even more joy to our senior community!

In addition to providing gifts, we welcome volunteers to help organize and implement the Silver Santas program. If you're interested in volunteering, we welcome you to attend a monthly meeting of the Silver Santas Committee. Our meetings are in-personand Zoom video conferencing is available for those who prefer to join remotely.
