"At Better Living for Seniors, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for seniors by championing service excellence through proactive leadership, innovative collaboration, and a commitment to ethical practices in networking and education."

About Better Living for Seniors (BLS)

Founded in 1988 in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., the Better Living for Seniors (BLS) Consortium is a dedicated network of professionals committed to serving seniors. Our organization, based in Pinellas County, Florida, is supported by a Board of Directors and several specialized committees.

BLS proudly represents over 220 members who are actively involved in enhancing the lives of seniors. Our members contribute their expertise by volunteering on committees, participating in information-sharing events, and engaging in networking and educational opportunities.

This collaborative approach fosters a supportive community where members can refer business and build valuable connections.

The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, serves as a vital partner, providing essential services to seniors and their caregivers across Pasco and Pinellas counties

Clean Eatz Café is a healthy cafe that offers dine in and to-go options for all kinds of diets, and we specialize in meal prep! We offer a new meal prep menu each week with healthful, balanced, and delicious meal options made on-site. Most meals are under 500 calories with an ideal mix of protein, carbs, and fats. Order from us weekly with *no minimums and no subscriptions*. We also support custom diets with low carb and extra protein options and can create gluten-free and vegan meals.

Drop by the café any time to pick up one of our hundreds of frozen grab & go meals, a custom bowl, wrap, or smoothie for lunch, or order our healthy & fresh catering for your next lunch event or group gathering. This month's Chomp 'n Chat is hosted by Aventura Bay Place.

Friday from 9:00am - 10:00am. Doors open at 8:30am. Join us for an opportunity to network with fellow Better Living for Seniors (BLS) Members, potentially unlocking new business connections, particularly if you operate in the senior living, healthcare, or community services sectors. As a valued BLS member, attendance is complimentary. Note: The meeting is currently full, so if you registered but cannot attend, kindly cancel your reservation so others can attend. Parking: Please be aware that the original event location has been changed to the ALF, Aventura Bay Place, at 10401 Roosevelt. When you drive in, turn to the left for parking.

About Aventura Bay Place: Aventura Bay Place is designed to be your new home away from home. Our residents experience a warm and welcoming environment, along with companionship, 24 hour care, and a compassionate staff. We encourage our residents to relax and enjoy the many social and recreational activities we offer.

Each resident suite at Aventura Bay Place is part of a “neighborhood,” with shared living rooms and dining rooms for spending time together, along with enclosed courtyards and screened-in porches to enjoy with friends and family. There are different levels of care offered so you only pay for the services you need and use.

As most of you know, this festive afternoon raises funds to deliver joy and holiday gifts to almost 2,000 isolated, low-income seniors that might otherwise be forgotten. Every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured helps us continue the work of spreading holiday cheer to seniors who need it most.

Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas

The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors and caregivers in Pasco and Pinellas counties.

As a trusted 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1974, it is the central hub for aging and disability services.

Connecting individuals with vital resources, the agency strives to create a supportive community network tailored to meet the diverse needs of our aging population.
