2025 GRANTS

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all organizations that submitted applications for 2025 BLS Grant Funding.

The submission window has now officially closed, and we appreciate your interest and effort in contributing to our mission.

The BLS Pinellas Grant Committee is currently in the process of confirming eligibility, reviewing, and scoring all submitted applications. Following this, the BLS Pinellas Board will evaluate the recommendations made by the Grant Committee and will vote on the selected recipients along with the corresponding funding amounts.

We anticipate notifying the winners by the end of the calendar year. Winners will be formally announced at our September 2025 membership meeting, and we request a representative of recipient organizations be present in-person.

As part of the grant requirements, winners will be required to submit a 1-page Impact Report or Executive Summary. This report should include pictures and/or video, if possible, detailing the funded project and the accomplishments of the goals set forth. Please note that this Impact Report is due no later than March 31, 2026.

Thank you once again for your participation and commitment to making a positive impact in our community. We look forward to sharing the results of this year’s grant process with you soon.

Better Living for Seniors Pinellas (BLS Pinellas) is a networking group of like-minded professionals dedicated to integrating and strengthening programs to meet the needs of our local Pinellas County elderly population. Under the guidance of the Area Agency for Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. (AAAPP), we fundraise annually to offer grants to local 501c3 organizations and/or government agencies who service Pinellas County seniors.

To qualify for 2025 Grant monies, applicants needed to submit:

    • The completed Grant Application Form.
    • The type of organization they are (501c3 or Government entity).
    • FEIN/Tax ID with IRS Designation Letter
    • Specific financial amount request, along with the minimum amount required.
    • Details on grant fund usage, and what problem is being addressed.
    • An execution plan of how they serve local Pinellas County seniors.

Note:

    • Eligible organizations cannot have received a grant disbursement from BLS Pinellas in the previous grant cycle year (2024).
    • An organization or government entity cannot receive a BLS Pinellas Grant in consecutive years, even when the request is for a new or different project.
    • Each organization awarded with a grant will need to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to its activities that do not conflict with BLS Pinellas and/or AAAPP interests, including any that apply to the Products and Services to be provided under this grant program application.
