About Better Living for Seniors (BLS)

Founded in 1988 in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., the Better Living for Seniors (BLS) Consortium is a dedicated network of professionals committed to serving seniors. Our organization, based in Pinellas County, Florida, is supported by a Board of Directors and nine specialized committees.

BLS proudly represents over 220 members who are actively involved in enhancing the lives of seniors. Our members contribute their expertise by volunteering on committees, participating in information-sharing events, and engaging in networking and educational opportunities.

This collaborative approach fosters a supportive community where members can refer business and build valuable connections.

The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, serves as a vital partner, providing essential services to seniors and their caregivers across Pasco and Pinellas counties

The 2025 BLS Grant Application Window is Open

Announcing an exciting opportunity for organizations that service the Pinellas County senior community. 

Under the guidance of the Area Agency for Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. (AAAPP), BLS fundraises annually to offer grants to local 501c3 organizations and/or government agencies who service Pinellas County seniors. 

Do you know of a 501c3 organization or local governmental program that services the Pinellas County senior community and would appreciate some funding for their program and services?  

Please refer them to the BLS Grant Information webpage.
