About Weissman Day Center at Menorah Life:
Weissman Day Center offers affordable, quality care in a safe and compassionate environment. The day center provides an engaging program that promotes the well-being of the whole person. Activities include daily exercises, arts & crafts, food programs, cognitive games, entertainment, pet therapy, etc. Participants benefit from diverse programming that caters to the various stages of social, physical, mental, and spiritual needs they may have.
The program also benefits our care providers by offering respite during the day (reduction in stress: mentally, physically and financially), family meetings and support groups (increased support and communication), community outreach (improved coordination and communication between family members and LTC), decrease in current support costs (opportunity for increased savings for future care), and preservation of one's promise/ familial obligation (prolong the necessity for LTC).
Most important of all, at the end of the day, your loved one comes home to you. We look forward to serving the community and keeping those entrusted to our care, happy, active, & safe. Learn more
Better Living for Seniors is affiliated with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. is a 501c(3) private non-profit agency. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. All funds raised and distributed by Better Living for Seniors are derived exclusively from private sources, including individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community fundraising activities. These funds are maintained and distributed independently and do not include any local, state, or federal government funds held by the AAA.
