The BLS Mental Health Awareness Committee invites you to be part of our dedicated & mutually supportive team.  This committee plays a critical role in raising awareness on the unique mental health challenges faced by older adults. Our goal is to share resources and best practices to ensure our area seniors receive the support they need to thrive.

Please mark your calendar for our zoom virtual meeting where will kick off our objectives for 2026. You’ll receive the Zoom link once you’ve registered. Please invite your colleagues. 

Our topic this month is on depression, a common feeling that comes after the holidays for our seniors and their caregivers. Share your insights on resources and tools in your community that you are using to overcome depression. We’ll also select our location for the February meeting (decisions are made by those in attendance).
