This month, we're supporting Silver Santas of Pinellas by collecting essential toiletries and new clothing items to help them stock their warehouse. As you know, many tags go unfulfilled, and your generous donations help keep their expenses down, allowing them to assist more people in need.

You may bring giveaways for drawings to promote your business. Attendees are required to register online in advance for all Chomp & Chat events.

BLS Members - The event is free to attend, but participants must pre-register in advance to secure their spot. Registration ensures that we can accommodate everyone and provide the best experience possible.

Non-Members - $10.00 fee must be paid at registration, this fee is non-refundable. (Credit Card only - this is a cashless event).

Mental Health Awareness Committee Meeting (November 19, 2026)

Thu, 19 Nov 2026 15:00:00 GMT

The Mental Health Awareness Committee invites you to join us for another meaningful conversation focused on the mental health and well-being of older adults. Our committee brings together professionals who are passionate about sharing knowledge, resources, and perspectives to help strengthen the support available to seniors in our community.

This month, we're focusing on PTSD and the lasting impact of traumatic life experiences.

As we age, past trauma can resurface or continue to affect our emotional well-being, relationships, and daily lives. We'll explore how traumatic events can impact seniors, how to recognize when someone may still be processing those experiences, and how we can provide compassionate, understanding support. Together, we'll share insights and practical ways to help older adults feel heard, safe, and supported.

Bring your experiences, questions, and ideas. We look forward to another engaging conversation and the opportunity to learn from one another as we continue working to improve the lives of the seniors we serve.

We hope to see you there!

Join us on Thursday, November 19 at 10:00am via Zoom.

BLS-Pinellas Member Holiday Party (December 03, 2026)

Thu, 03 Dec 2026 21:00:00 GMT

Get ready for one of the most fun and festive events of the year! We invite you to join us for an evening filled with holiday cheer and the chance to connect with fellow BLS Pinellas Chapter members. Please RSVP to let us know if you will be attending so we may better plan the arrangements.

Dress code or lack of one is business casual, but with a holiday twist! Think 'business on the bottom, party on the top' – or vice versa! Feel free to jazz things up with cocktail attire, jingle bells, twinkling lights, or even a fun holiday-themed t-shirt. And for those brave souls willing to battle the Florida heat, dust off that ugly sweater and show off your holiday spirit! Let's make this a festive and memorable occasion!

But that’s not all! We’ll be giving away some exciting door prizes, and we encourage you to bring your own to share, adding to the festive spirit of the evening.

Grand Villa of Clearwater

2750 Drew St Clearwater, FL 33759

Please note that this is a BLS Pinellas member only event. Want in on the action? If you're not a member yet, now's the perfect time to join! Sign up today! Don't miss out – Join or Renew Now!
